The Dixie Chicken is a Texas A&M, College Station Landmark. The place known as North side is great to go out and have a beer and meet up with friends. The football season is always a good occasion to attend the games and have a good time.

To clarify things out. Texas A&M was my home university at the moment. I was there as an international student and not as an exchange student. I signed up voluntarily for the Corps R.O.T.C Millitary program. The housing provided was within the Corps dormitories. As a freshman in the Corps one is not allowed to have much and the shared rooms most be arranged according to military specificains. I enjoyed the experience a lot.

I had lived in Houston, Texas, years prior to attending A&M. This university was my home university. I was an international student, not an exchage student. I therefore had no problems at all with the language or communicating.

Final comments
As any university of this size there will always be problems because it's impossible to please everyone. Other than that Texas A&M is an excellent institution with tons of history and tradition.
