The best way to learn the language is to live with native speakers. fortunately I lived with 2 spanish boys and therefore had enough practice throughout the year.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
because you have the chance to live in the center. never take the residential rooms on the campus, they are way to far from the center of madrid!!!!

Personal comments
Try to find a room in an apartement with native speakers and be aware of the location of the flat. In general the north of the city is better than the south, but the best parts of madrid to live are: huertas, la latina, malasana, chueca, thats mainly the center!
