Pamplona is really a great place to go out. We went out every week, more than once a week while in brussels I never went out and still don't. Best cafés are : el Meson de la Navarreria, bar Los Portales, Otano, Garazi, El Portal, and many many more. The hottest day is the thursday, everyone at Los Portales, happy hours till 1pm, then arround 2pm, everyone swithes to El Marengo(nightclub), free entrance till 3pm, incredible place to meet and danc with people from spain and from the whole "erasmus and other programs students".

Personal spending habits
Level of life in spain is lower than in Belgium for instance, but there was also the fact that Pamplona is a small city and where housing for exemple is much lower than in Barcelona where I had some Erasmus friends as well as in Valencia and Madrid.

Eroski, Lidl, and other cheap supermarkets, I lived with €350 per month, every cost included. I don't say it was easy, bue it is possible and I had as much fun as anyone with €700 per month. Money doesn't matter... University gives already some good advice to save money.

oblige foreign students to mix themselves with local students because it is not so easy for shy people in Spain

Final comments
the most amazing thing that happened in my life. Now I can't be happy not travelling and sharing cultures with people I don't know. Erasmus makes your "normal" life look more boring than ever.

Personal comments
very slow at the begining because everyone hangs out only with people they know from somewhere and people of same language/country. But one month later was everyone mixed and then well obliged to use only the local language. As far as I'm concerned, I met a girl from argentina which boosted my learning in an incredible way. Everything was perfect over there...
