The funnest event going on at the time of my arrival in July was the festival of Sampedros, in which about 200 townspeople serenaded our residencia and danced with us. The city was always having parades and little sidewalk shows and amazing concerts (set up with the cathedral wall as a backdrop). Avalon and 21 were the best clubs to go to (after 1 AM, all the teeny-boppers are out before that).

Housing
Type of housing: dorm style
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?

Personal recommendation
I didn't have too much interaction with the university and its people due to only being there three times a week fo one class, but it seemed like an average university, sort of quiet though.

well, the foremost and obvious reason is that when you go to a foreign country, you want to see and do everything, which I wanted to do. Of course, the abundance pastries taunting me didn't help either.
