Granada is a lovely place to be. Andaluzes and Spanish in general gave me an ability to enjoy life and make the most out of situations that I did not have before. Once you learn how to join in the Cachondeo (boystrous joking) you really laugh til you cry very, very often.

The UGR (Universidad de Granada)is a very international university. There are about 1500 Erasmus students a year and many more internationals especially from Southamerica and the north of Africa. The academic standards are quite good compared to other spanish universities, but the way of teaching is more similar to the german school than to the german university system.

Treat the foreign students better in the student offices.. I was treated very well at all times but most people complained about being treated bad.. That´s all I can think of right now.

REVIEWS BY INTERNS AT Universidad de Granada
ABOUT
The University of Granada has suffered its ups and downs during its more than 450
years' existence but has always been the focal point of scholarship and learning in
the city, to such an extent that Granada can be called a true university city, like
Oxford and Salamanca for example, where the university and its colleges and
annexes extend throughout the city and its influence is felt in all walks of life.
