Life in Pamplona seems to go slowly, people are not in a hurry as it occurs in other large cities. One can say that the city has its own, sluggish rythm, that causes you feel well. Even if you have to stand in a line at the post office for half an hour (which happened to me yesterday) it doesn´t seem to be an horror because people enjoy this slow lifestyle. In the streets of the city you can not hear the sounds of the cars as well. Pedestrians are treated in a very favorable way by car drivers. People usually walk in Pamplona, especially students. It is the most comfortable way of transportation because everything is close and you can easily get from one place to another walking. For students the best-known parts of the city are near the university. One of them is the neighborhood of Iturrama, which is an area where most of students live. Other area is San Juan (where I live :), which is a little bit more far away from the university but it is most known because of its variety of bars and discos. The place called La Travesia is an area where everybody goes during late hours in weekends. When you pass by La Travesia between 1 and 7 o´clock on thursday, friday or saturday, you probably have to

it was pretty easy to learn spanish for me as I already knew french and english. Many words are just the same or similar in all those languages. Besides, spanish language is easier than french or german.

Course recommendations
All the courses were pretty good. There is no big possibility in choosing subjects, there are only few in english, the rest is in spanish but that is ok because that's why you go to spain - to learn spanish! :)
