All classes were conducted in Spanish in my host university. I also lived with a family that spoke no English, and hung out with many Spanish people, so I picked up the language pretty fast.

Personal comments
Though I spent a lot of money, I did not go over my budget. I would advise to plan a budget and stick to it. Eat at home and then go out so you won`t feel pressed to buy food.

Overall
I wish I had known...
In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Don`t just take classes offered in the main university. The University of Sevilla offers many classes offered in other parts of town that are more specific. Try those out! They are usually more interesting.

In order to find housing accomodation and the like, one good place to start is the Pabellon Uruguay which is near the library on Paseo de Colon. There they have tons on info on apts., dance classes, "intercambios", excerise classes, etc.

Personal social experience
Personal comments
I liked hanging out with a close group of friends. Things people did were go out (always things to do in spots behind the Cathedral). Also, hanging out in the bars on calle Betis that goes down the river. There is always something to do because people are always out in the streets.

Housing
Type of housing: With a family
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I believe one has to deal with less problems if s/he is living on his or her own instead of with a family.

Personal comments
This university was very good. Sometimes there were delays with grading, but in the end, grades were posted and every faculty member I came in contact with was very helpful.
