the university of coimbra gives the opportunity to play all the kind of sports a guy likes. i was playing volleyball in the university team.
during the night there's a zone called "praça da republica" where you can find a lot of discos and pubs. Coimbra is a Student's city drink and have fun is a must

"Queima das Fitas" is a festival which usually takes place in May and which marks the end of the academic year and graduation.
Bars, restaurants and cafes are scattered throughout the town and i've never had a bad experience! Portuguese coffee is without a doubt the best in the world.
