Portuguese people are very warm and kind, and they always helped me! I had a very nice neighbour that used to take me to the groceries and help me out with the language! They are very good people, always there.

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
It's better, you can live more independently...but the Republicas are never ending parties!!

Portuguese is a difficult language. To a lot of people it sounds like russian. But learning another language is worth a lot.
