Courses are usually really interesting but sometimes badly organized: it may happen that two or more courses are scheduled at the same time, so you'll have to choose which one you want to attend. Also, the university of Turin has more than one locations in which courses are taught, so you might risk being late since you have to walk 5 to 15 minutes to reach your next class. The main locations are Palazzo Nuovo and the Campus Einaudi, the former is an older building while the latter is quite recent and a really great structure: there is a café inside and many study rooms, wifi, computers etc. 
Teachers (at least the ones I had) are well-qualified and passionate, lessons were never boring. There are many students also with different nationalities, and there are many opportunities to make new friends. 
Student life in Turin is, at least in my opinion, quite cool but still relaxing. Turin is a big city but you can still reach the city centre by foot, or just take a bus: the transport system allows you to move around easily. Rentals are not that expensive, but not cheap: of course it also depends on where you live inside the city. Anyway, if you are a student, I suggest you get a room\house in an area called "Vanchiglia": most students live there.
