When i arrived to the ULB University of Brussels i wasn't able to communicate in French; in the University i did a French course that helped me in my experience. With the University, i had my language certificate DELF B2

At first it was a little bit difficult since I couldn´t speak french, but I managed quite well after a month.

It was great. The host university gaved french courses for free during all the year for international exchanges (9hour per week). The teacher was great too.

French is a pretty language and you can easily learn it in spoken basic level but if you want to learn to write it and to speak correctly is very hard.
