A night spot--Alien cafe not far away from the campus and from the tram station(which is great when you don't have a car), not expensive--cause targeted at students. Cafes are everywhere, but i like the one at the corner of the street facing the Cathedral. Just love this cathedral!!! Btw, that's really one of the places in Orleans not to be missed.

Gardells Nightclub. A coffee house called Autour de la Terre, right next to the cathedral. I became personal friends with the owner, they have excellent coffees and teas!

In Cracow: http://www.bledne-kolo.krakow.pl/ is realy good for party.
In Oleans: Little Scottish Pub with great beer and hot wine.
