Final comments
Start well in advance, because it's a lot of hassle to arrange everything. In France, it will also take long to arrange green card, bank account and such. Just keep your patience and go with the flow.

You'll have a lot of fun whatever you do, but if you're there to learn the language you can be disappointed if you're not actively searching for french students to talk to, you really have to make an effort if you want to meet french friends.

Le cadre de vie de cette université est très agréable, il y a eu beaucoup de rénovations ces dernières années. L'ambiance globale est agréable. Le niveau des cours est plutôt difficile, les professeurs sont exigeants. Même chose pour les cours de TD car les chargés de TD vont très vites et ne prennent pas souvent le temps d'expliquer.
Concernant les masters, il y a pas mal de choix dont des master très intéressants et réputés.

Low cost airlines make it easy to get to, be prepared for the fact that french airports do not usually have a train connection.
There is a bus service to town centre, taxis are expensive andmay take advantage of the fact you are obviously new to the place
