It's always better to study a foreign language being completely submerged in it, I didn't have that big languge difficulties and asking again should never be a problem.

It hels a lot to read the course content before applying to it, because there're some courses which names may sound similar, but really they are different in many aspects.

Personal comments
It's better to do everything in advance, it's good to read the course material from the previous year available on the university web-site, wouldn't reccomend buying books before the course starts.

Everything is in general more expensive in Italy than in Ukraine, because of the strong euro, though now the prices in Ukraine are getting higher and it a lot of things cost the same as in Italy.

Personal comments
It's good to look for some student-oriented banking services that offer advantages for students. I wouldn't take Traveler's Cheques with me again, had to go all the way to Florence and change the whole sum at once, not convenient.

It's a pretty good university, but not in a student-oriented city. In general the feelig is positive and if you want to achieve something and you are working on it you will get it.

Final comments
Check the train connections on www.trenitalia.it, refer to the student-office on difficulties, be prepared for the registration in the local police(for extra-EU students) and their long time of response. Look up some nice places in Italy and go there as soon as possible, because there are some really beautiful.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I would have chosen the same accomodation, where I wouldn't be disturbed by the hectic student life, but that would be closer to the university though, not to spend time for commuting.

Wouldn't say that I have some favourite places, they are all nice more or less, am just not that attached to them. I woulnd't miss the meetings the university organizes and sends the invitation via mail, things like presentation of a new book of a known author, discussions on innovation in marketing, technology and so on.
