Interesting and amazing student life
QI Y
Italy, Graduate
Economics, 2021
Overall
the student life in bologna is absolutely amazing, the whole city is full of student vibes, the university is very nice as well of course, taking care of  students' needs. the only unfortunate point is that Im not really interested in my program actually ( personal reasons)  but due to too many reasons and bureaucracies I couldn't change my program. anyway, the course structure is great, it's a good program to consolidate your foundation if you are going to get a  PHD or do research in the future.

Thanks to this course of study, I have acquired in-depth knowledge and skills in the innovative field of marketing and economic and commercial management in the agricultural and agribusiness sector. The approach followed is that of the supply chain, oriented to the enhancement of quality and economic-social and environmental sustainability of production.
I have learned to apply the technical knowledge, typical of the primary sector, to the socio-economic context of a reference

Overall
the university of Bologna is a very renowned university both for the level of its courses and for the teachers who teach inside.
My experience dates back to a few years ago but what shaped me the most is the ability to build a method and to know how to move without problems in society and in relationships with the public. I did humanitarian studies that allowed me to broaden my mind and be able to develop an excellent problem solving capacity

I wish I had known...
MY PRINCIPAL QUESTION WAS THE ACCOMODATION, BUT WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO BOLOGNA, YOU KNOW THAT THE BUSSOLA ( ERASMUS OFFICE) WAS OPENED TO HELP, AND THE WORK REALLY GOOD. MARGARET FORLENZA WAS THE DIRECTOR, AND THE SPEAK PERFECTLY THE ENGLISH,ITALIAN, SPANISH, AND FRENCH.

It depends on whether you fancy ERASMUS student nights or the all hallowed "Locals" nights. Personally after the first three months I lost my will to be a stranger among the locals and I opted for the safe haven of the other Northern European students. "jam" is where the crowd head to on a Saturday night. The Golem cafe is good for unwinding the morning after and for cosy little meetings on cold winter evenings. The Giardini Margherita has a nice little cafe and is where everyone heads to "fare la passegiata" on a Sunday. I personally enjoy the walk up to the monastery of San Luca and then having a beer in the restaurant at the top (I would only advise this for the most active of you-there's a challenge!!). There is "Soleluna" the cheesy (fake) beach disco bar and if you fancy a real cheesy disco bar head down to Rimini (apparently the new Ibiza-I never saw much evidence of this???). Also make the most of the fact that Bologna is the central rail terminal and go anywhere you feel like!!!

I wish I had known...
That I would have had more knowledge about the local language in order to advance my studies and to get even closer to the local people.

To increase the role of the tutor that was handed out to each foreign students. A bit of more support with the choice of courses is preferable.

I strongly recommend everyone to study in Bologna! Once you go there are a few things that never can be forgotten; - Enjoy the food, the region of Emilia Romagna is famous for their food culture. - Travel, Bologna i situated central in the northern part of Italy and by train you get the best oppertunity to discover large parts of the country for a small expense. - Housing, the association Bussola, located at via Zamboni provides good support in the search of an appartment.
