In accademic situations, people were well disposed towards talking slowly or repeating things. In social life, external to accademic scene, sometimes it was difficult to grasp everything in the conversation. in the beginning it was very tiring to speak and listen to other language all day... It helps to have a handy dictionary in any situation, and not ever being embarassed to ask people to correct our pronunciation... It will help both to cope better!!!

In terms of social experiences, the town and people are great. In terms of the University I think they need to be much more supportive of the international students, especially in terms of their language capabilities. It's also quite disheartening when at the end of several courses, the tutors lost the marks for several Erasmus students exams, so be prepared!
