I lived at Manu-Park student apartments, which is just across the street from the Uni, at the Manufacture des Tabac campus. The price was is the same league as all other student houses, and I liked the location, being just one minutes walk from class.

It is hard to compare my uni in Lyonwith one at home. Teaching in France is so different to how you teach in Sweden. In Sweden interaction is encouraged - in France it frowned upon. That was probably my main issue.

If you are going for purely academic reasons, go somewhere else. But if you are going for the cultural experience in order to have fun and travel, but also attend a French university, go to Lyon!

Final comments
The best thing about Lyon is that it is the gastronomic capital of not just France, but Europe! Going out to eat is cheap and yummy! Make sure you don't miss out!
