Why?
Leaving on campus was a great opportunity to meet people and get involved in the student life. The PEPS (sport center) and the mall are very closed from the hall of residence. Bus will drive you to city center for 2.5$ and 15 minutes.

Hall of résidence is great. You'll never feel alone. Stayin there for 8 months is OK but get ready to feel a lack of privacy ! Rooms are Spartan. Most of the people handle it. Anyway, Kitchens are the best place to meet people when u arrive !

French in Québec is not so different from usual French. Not more than 2 weeks to get used to the accent, more than 8 months to understand the slang !
