Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: An appartement nearby the campus
Why?
Because the night-life there is awesome, and because living near the faculty makes you save a lot of money and time in transport.

Personal recommendation
At ULB you will almst have to do everything by your own; the administration doesn´t help you too much. Anyway, in this university teache some of the best teachers I ever knew and very who work for the european institutions, too.

Final comments
Travel as much as you can. Is incredible how near is Belgium from the rest of central Europe (France, Holland, Germany, GB, ...). Inside Belgium use the Gopass, and in Germany the All-weekend included train ticket for regional trips.

Personal comments
French speakers, no matter if they´re belgians, french or wathever, are not very opened to foreigners, specially to the ones who don´t speak well their language, so if you manage to have many local friends, think that that is not the usual thing.
