The night life here is very expensive!! At home I don't pay for food very often because of the meal plan, and the telephone is free within the same town. In Paris you pay to call your neighbor. Travel however is much cheaper.

Course recommendations
Exams count for everything. You spend a lot of time doing projects at Dauphine (powerpoint, speeches, etc) but the thing that counts in the end is your performance on the exam.

Be prepared to be judged in front of the class--teachers like to show your errors to everyone. Also don't expect to be able to speak to your teachers. They are very distant to their students.

Why?
More freedom. In the dorms the maid comes to do security checks and wakes you up each morning. Also you don't have the right to have visitors without paying for them.
