So far I like my student experience in Toulouse, France in general
harout a
France, Graduate
Computer Science / IT, 2021
Overall
The courses in my program are a bit unrelated to each other and the university provides us with general and shallow intro on the subjects without deeper knowledge in most of the subjects. the teachers are well experienced in their own fields, however their level of English didn't meet my expectations. The students in my program are from different countries and various backgrounds. The campus is pretty huge and well equipped with all the necessary utilities. The student life in Toulouse is one of the best across France and maybe even Europe, since there are several big universities and many institutions, which results in vast amounts of local and foreign students, the state offers many programs to aid the students to benefit from their study period and facilitate their everyday life through-out and post the study period.

I wish I had known...
that university had arranged accommodation for us - home uni did not inform us about that and we started looking into private accommodation first which proved to be very difficult if you only want to rent for 1 semester

Remember: Paul Sabatier is about 7 km from the centre of Toulouse - there are no buses into town after 9 pm. On transport is very useful. Parking provided at uni, no security risk

It's alright. The facilities are somewhat old, and compared to campus life in the States, somewhat limited. But it's the experience of living abroad that compensates for that.

Go! But remember French Universities are concrete hellholes and the visual hell of the campus should not detract from the beauty of Toulouse!

Go, to the University and to the fantastic city of Toulouse. The proximity to the Pyrenées and the mediterranian and the beauty of the river Garonne make quality of life in Toulouse second to none. The city is absolutely fantastic as well as beautiful.

BUT Informatique

France, Other courses

Overall
