The Halls of Residence, although outrageoously cheap, were a terrible place to live with few amenities and little feeling of community.

The Halls are cheap, but not cheerful. I saved a lot of money living there and it is worth it if you have to budget but living in the centre of Toulouse is far more appealing...

Why?
Though the facilities were not as good as in Belgium, costs were very low and the location on campus was good for my study-results. Everything necessary for surviving was on walking-distance.

In Average the housing at the university was what i expected, the only point that was a bit disappointing was internet-access which is nowadays a great help for study-purposes

to experience the French way of living, living with other students to faciliate social life, appartment in center of Toulouse, appartment enables you to cook for yourself - the hall of residence does not provide cooking facilities.
