If you take "control continue" you have to go to class. If you skip more than 3 lessons, the teacher can fail you and you may have no chance to take the final exam. It is important to participate in class and be patient when making the schedule... too many lines and papers!

I would have liked someone who could help me at the begining with all the papers and subjects and so on. I would have asked for more interaction between erasmus and local students. Teachers should be less strict with erasmus students at the beginning.

Translation is a good option but you need to be aware that with your second language you must learn how to translate between French and that langauge, in my case it was French and Spanish. Not easy!
