Final comments
Cheap places to eat: CROUS (this is the university restaurant) For 2.65 euros you can have a full meal. There are a lot of restaurants all over the city. Once you are in Paris, try to travel as much as you can (Holland, Belgium, Germany) there are really close and you will have a great experience.

Academic
Course recommendations
If you take "control continue" you have to go to class. If you skip more than 3 lessons, the teacher can fail you and you may have no chance to take the final exam. It is important to participate in class and be patient when making the schedule... too many lines and papers!

Interaction with local students
Personal comments
I would have liked someone who could help me at the begining with all the papers and subjects and so on. I would have asked for more interaction between erasmus and local students. Teachers should be less strict with erasmus students at the beginning.

Personal comments
It was pretty hard at the beginning because french people do not always have patience with foreign people but you get used to it. I would like to give an advise to all those students that are leaving. Don't be afraid of talking french, if you feel worried or if you think that the other person is going to make fun at your accent or whatever, you won't learn anything and you won't enjoy this great experience. Bring it on guys!

Personal spending habits
I spent more in every category because the purchasing power in France is higher than in Spain. However, I didn't spend too much than in Spain. I used to shop at a supermarket called ED which is pretty cheap. I used to have meals at university and so on...

Personal comments
When I got to my residence I applied for a government's help called APL. The residence would have cost me 612 euros, and with that help, I had to pay 312 euros instead, which is really good. Normally, everybody gets that monetary help.

Housing
Type of housing: residence for young workers and students
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Because you can meet more people with the same interests as you, you can learn the foreign language much better and there's more party!
