it was a little bit too expensive(which was not so bad as every student gets financial aid for living in france) and not very safe(burglars) nor clean (insects and mice), but all in all acceptable.

CROUS organise accomodation for you if you apply in advance, you should request a room in Van Dyck, and you should request to be off the ground floor if you are a girl just for security reasons.
