“Covid-conditioned studies”
Camille G

Overall
It has been quite an incredible experience to have studied at UNIGE. I have encountered amazing professors and supervisors across my masters. Despite the covid situation, the university and especially the neurocenter (which coordinates my masters) took care of enabling students to keep studying remotely in the best conditions. I was also a great opportunity to network and to grow professionally and personally. It was a pleasure to have studied in one of the world's top universities.

Notwithstanding the fact that you receive many foreign exchange students each year, you ought to spend more time guiding them and making sure that they feel at ease.

Final comments
Geneva is particularly great during the summertime. In August, for instance, there is a great lake parade. Moreover, it is a great idea to find a job while staying in Geneva (I taught Danish at one of the many Language Institutes).

Personal comments
The first time that I lived in Geneva, I spoke French fluently. However, having studied English for three years at my home university and in Limerick, I felt a need to go on an exchange to Geneva (although this is uncommon during one's minor subject) to brush up my oral French skills. I had to return to Denmark just before Christmas because I had examinations at my home university in January that I had studied for concomitant with my studies in Geneva.
