Overall
I went to the University of Lausanne to experience another city. I met a lot of interesting people. The course were different than what I was taught in the United States. I really enjoyed learning more about swiss culture.

Final comments
Regardless if one has a terrible study abroad experience, at least he/she did it! How is one to perceive the world around him/her if one never sees it?

Personal spending habits
Food and drink was significantly more expensive in Lausanne than York. However I didn't have a telephone so naturally spent less, but also had to communicate less with friends and family back home. Travel in Switzerland is considerably more expensive than England but also more reliable. For this reason I probably made more excursions than I would have done at my home university.

Personal comments
The family's house was smack dab in the center of town. Unfortunately, my university friends lived far from me. The university converted lakeside housing for athletes of the sports facilities across the street into housing for students.

Mon avis sur l'Université de Lausanne
DImitri B
France, Graduate
Law, 2020
Overall
