La Lonja absolutely the best place for students to go. Paseo Maritimo is fancier - many rich Germans owning big boats

Final comments

Mallorca is great! Great weather, great outdoors, great hiking possibilities. Nightlife is good, it's not expensive to live. The number of tourists may drive you crazy sometimes but you can easily avoid them. Great place to study tourism!

university uses Catalan language. On Mallorca you can get around in Spanish. Teacher would refuse to speak Spanish in his class, therefore I wasn't able to understand, unfortunately. Catalan is an impossible language, I'm afraid.
