Pourquoi?

my professor arranged accomodations for us at the University of Bath, and we ended up at the medical school dorms, which were across town from the main campus. We had to share these with medical students who were in the middle of exams, and they got annoyed with our noise and our frequent late nights.

It would have been much better to have our own space, because we would have been less in the way. Since we had such a large group studying abroad (about 40), we could have rented apartments short term.

There were so many places to go in the town of Bath: The Rabbit and the Farrot, Forum Firken, and Beaties were places we went more than once, but there were many others to choose from.

We only took business courses, and compared to the way we learned in the US, there was so much less interaction in the classroom. The professors basically lectured the entire time, and there was no application of material. I think that is just the way things are taught in the UK though (according to my friends who go to school there).

I wish I thought more about the size of the group that I went with. I would have had more interaction if there were fewer people in my group from the states, which would have been nice.

I recommend this university. The people know how to have a good time, and if you give them a little while, they open up. Also, it is a good school.

Communication was fairly good, considering that we pretty much speak the same language. However, sometimes I felt like some English people thought less of us since we were Americans, and they made comments to that effect.
