I prefer a personal space that comes with living in an apartment. The apartment is also convenient as it is fully furnished and has all the facilities of a home.

The housing arrangements are done very well and the system is very organized. However, getting maintainence to fix certain things in the apartment take a very long time.

I find that the offer is much wider for undergraduates, which makes sense. It was not too difficult to find accommodation for the whole school year, although it was a bit harder to find something for short periods of time.

On campus housing gives you more contact with people from other countries and from UCLA. You are involve in campus life faster than when you are living by your own.
