I lived in the Westwood area. It is a very nice neighbourhood for students. UCLA campus is also very complete. Santa Monica and Venice beaches present a wide offer of places for shopping and leisure.

there are lots of interesting places but you must be over 21.If not, there are no places to go.Just walk aroun Sunset Bulevard and you will find lots of places to go.

My favourite nightspot is a bar in Westwood village that is very relaxing after a long, hard day. The students here call it brewcos.

Bruin Company - a great student bar, pretty cheap; and all those awesome bars on the hollywood blvd like The Highlands or Spider Club

So much to do in LA that singling something out would be absurd. Try Eurochow in Westwood.
