Although English is not my mother tongue, I started studying it when I was six, and I had lived before in the US. Also, being in an international environment contributed to the fact that the English used was very understandable. I had no language problems at all.

I lived in the Westwood area. It is a very nice neighbourhood for students. UCLA campus is also very complete. Santa Monica and Venice beaches present a wide offer of places for shopping and leisure.

I find that the offer is much wider for undergraduates, which makes sense. It was not too difficult to find accommodation for the whole school year, although it was a bit harder to find something for short periods of time.
