Personal comments
What I disapproved of was the fact that on our campus there were too little native people. Our flat was totally foreign which is a bit sad as we went to England to meet local people and to get to know the culture.

Final comments
Birmingham is a great city with a lot of activities and possibilities. London is also only 2 hours away by train therefore one can easily go and get back in one day. The campus life is great and I would recommend people to stay on campus. Close to the University there is everything: supermarket, banks... The professors at the UCE are very accessible, therefore get in contact with them as much as possible. They will help you always.

My English was ok before so I did not have any problems apart from understanding some locals when we went to noisy places. The people I spoke to were usually worse in English than me. I tried to teach them my knowledge.
