I wish I had known...
This Erasmus year was very challenging for me intellectually. I learned a lot about my self and about others. I was able to widen my research interest and develop a research project. In June I won a three year scholarship to complete my study.

Personal comments
I think that every university should have an office or meeting room for erasmus student to help them with their studies and to do some councelling. Some of my friend had problems with their work because the level of the course was too high and did not know what to do: talk to the lecturer or the administrative staff??

Personal comments
I realised that the best way to learn a language is to be totally immersed in the culture. That's mean that you have to talk and get involve in activities eg sport to meet other local student and not try to stay with your classmates from your home institution.

I was quite happy about the student halls. Most of the places offer a wide range of facilities. You have the choice between undergraduate or postgraduate accomodation. Some rooms are en-suite. You have to book early to be able to choose a suitable accomodation as there is a limited number of place available.

Bambou is a cosy and classy club and probably the best club in Glasgow : they have special nights for students. Otherwise do not miss any big night in the university student union or the Garage.
