In the beginning it is quite hard to attend the courses in foreign language, but step by step it becomes easyer. Know your class as more as you can.

The language of instruction was already English which my home university use it in the same way. I just have had the opportunity to practice it in a foreign country where English language is spoken almost by everyone.

I would say that public transport is far more expensive than expected. One good way of saving money from travel expenses is to receive a confirmation from your university that you are accepted as a student for a sertain period. Than one has the right to buy a monthly public transport card.
