The food was pretty expensive, so it was hard not to spend alot on that. I travelled quite extensivelly which is different than at home.

What I learned was to follow how much the dollar was compared to the Euro, and would take out money when the exchange rate seemed to be doing well. Also I saved money by buying food at the shop rather than eating out when I travelled.

This University has a strong sense of community. The Professors were wonderful, you would even see them out at the pub on campus if there was a big game on!

I was in a country that spoke my native language so it was not a problem. I ran into a little bit of a problem when I travelled outside Ireland, but nothing too terrible.
