Check out www.smart.com.mt for an idea of food prices. Vegetables/Meat is cheaper if you buy them from the little shops/stands that are everywhere.

I wish I had known...

This is not a place you would come if you were very serious about your studies. School takes a back-seat to island life most of the time. The classes are all quite easy.

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House

Residence was fun due to the people there. You meet a ton of people so its good if your coming for one or two semesters but not somewhere I'd want to live for 4 years.

Can't avoid Paceville. Pretty much all the bars play the same music but its jokes with a good group of friends. Check out BJ's for live jazz if your tired of listening to the "DJ" play the same CD over and over again. Golden Bay is great for evening bbq's.
