Personal comments
My accomodation was great because I was living with very nice people (all english)and so, I learned a lot about english culture. It also allowed me to improved my english. The flat was 20 min away from the university, but there were buses passing nearby very often. On the other hand, the flat was expensive and the rooms were really tiny!

At the beguinning, I had problems constructing a whole sentence. I couldn't understand my roomates either! Didn't have much vocabulary. But after a month, I begun to speak fluently with everybody. It was more a problem of practice, vocabulary and getting adapted to the numerous and diverse english accents!

Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
To try to live in a big flat with plenty of students and, if possible, try to make native friends, not ERASMUS students, exclusively.

A good university. The city is great for young people, although night-life and accomodation are very expensive. It's easy to travel wherever you want to, but, again, it's quite expensive.

There wasn't much contact with the students who were doing the same courses as me. They weren't very open to foreigners or new students.
