I did not struggle with this aspect at all as English is my native language. I was friends with quite afew international students from Europe and they seemed to adapt quite well to the teaching styles and interacting with English speakers.

The only real problems I had was with locals from small places down south, the southern drag took a while to get, but now I get it and can even pass for a local, "let's go down yonder, yaw'll!".

The experience was a great way to be in touch with business English. I feel that the Business classes, specially the Finance ones, helped me improve my business vocabulary in English.
