Everything was perfectly organised: the residence was well-structured and shaped for students. You could have your independence there, but you could also find places for meeting other people. We were required to respect one other's freedom.

Upssala presents 13 university organisations, called "Nations", which have their own pub and disco and which organise everything, from sport activities, to trips, from disco parties, to traditional balls. Foreign students can work as waiters/waitress at these Nation pubs; I did it more than 30 times and it was really amazing!

Travelling can be very cheap in Sweden, since students usually have the opportunity of paying less.
To enjoy any Welfare advantage (in particuar health assistance)it's importance to get residence permit.
