Our subsidiary Veolia Water Technology is looking for an Assistant Project Manager.
Veolia Water Technologies provides the complete range of services required to design, build, maintain and upgrade water and wastewater treatment facilities and systems for industrial clients and public authorities.
VWT Belgium has grown in the amount and size of projects that it is awarded in recent times.
Belgium is a highly competitive market with a high interconnectivity between potential industrial clients. Several important projects were awarded to VWT Belgium in the last year.
To achieve our goal, we currently need to reinforce our team.

Main Responsibilities:
Currently we have several projects in which we could need assistance :

1 large scale potable water production installation (UF/RO/remin) which is globally a first in its kind
1 large scale industrial wastewater treatment plant
1 mid-large scale industrial wastewater treatment plant

Our offices are in Tienen. Most of the projects are in West-Flanders.
The Assistant Project Manager would require working in the office during the engineering phase, working on site during construction and commissioning phase.

The Assistant Project Manager will be in charge of :

-Help with designing of a wastewater / water production plant
-Procurement, placing orders
-Managing subcontractors
-Communicating with the client, Paris HQ and subcontractors
-Organizing Commissioning
-Reporting

During the commissioning phase, the applicant needs to be prepared to work 100% on site.

Profile required:

Educational background: University, High School or professional education
Skills: Eager to learn, hard working, flexible
Languages: Dutch preferred. English mandatory. French can be added value
Other: Ability to work on site

Length of the assignment: 12 months (renewable for 12 months additionally)
Location: Tienen , Belgium ( Brussels - 45 km )
Type of contract : VIE
