About this role

Ready to lead, deliver, and care for our logistics network through data? Joining our Global Scoober Operations Data Analytics (SODA) team, you will combine data-driven insights and business knowledge to optimize our delivery ecosystem. From courier engagement to forecasting, you will create actionable dashboards and present crystal-clear insights to stakeholders. Your communication skills will transmit a passion for data, helping our audiences adopt analytics into their daily choices.

Reporting to: Global Scoober Operations Data Analytics Lead

These are some of the key components to the position:

* Convert complex data findings into actionable insights to guide high-aiming, strategic business decisions.
* Contribute to our internal Data as a Product initiative to keep data solutions unified and tech-debt free.
* Build and scale semantic layers and interactive dashboards highlighting meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Utilize tools such as Looker, Tableau, Google BigQuery (GBQ), Airflow, and Data Build Tool (DBT) for hands-on analytical tasks.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with sub-team analysts to build and deploy shared business strategies.
* Lead well-defined assignments while enthusiastically participating in cross-team skill-sharing opportunities.

What will you bring to the team?

* Proven experience in the Data Analysis and Business Intelligence (BI) field, driving operational excellence.
* Proficiency in building data semantic layers using Looker Modeling Language (LookML) and designing Looker dashboards.
* Strong Structured Query Language (SQL) skills with the capability to write and execute complex queries.
* Experience or familiarity with tools like Google BigQuery (GBQ), GitHub, Airflow, and Data Build Tool (DBT).
* Effective communication skills to translate complex technical findings clearly for non-technical stakeholders.
* A nimble, growth-oriented mindset with the capability to balance speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
