The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.
Your contribution to something big
►Defining product use cases and life cycles, with consideration to loads and requirements
►Contributing to product design processes with multidisciplinary teams
►Discussing product reliability and validation relevant topics with internal and external customers
►Defining validation tests according to standards, customer specifications, aging laws, etc.
►Supporting root cause analysis, risk estimation and corrective measure implementation in case of test failures
►Creating and presenting reports in English or German and presenting them to project teams and internal, or external customers
What distinguishes you
►MSc in physics, chemistry, mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable
►Interest in various technical fields (e.g.: electronics, analysis methods, material sciences, etc.)
►Strong analytical skills, with structured and precise working style
►Good communication and presentation skills
►Ability to work individually and in teams
►Good English language skills (German is an advantage)
