Media Manager (6-Month Contract)

We are looking for a 6-month contract media manager for (COMPANY NAME) Media's Video and Design team. This person will work alongside various content creation teams and be a crucial part of their workflow including ingesting media, project creation and deliveries, archival workflows. This role is critical to the success of delivering assets for all platforms and businesses including external events

WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:

* Be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and a passion for our programming.
* Be flexible with working hours to accommodate production schedules
* Be knowledgable of metadata and file formats
* Navigate technical aspects between PC and MAC, be a support to video and graphics team on day to day tasks
* Set up and organize media projects according to the specific needs of the production
* Be Accountable for all media including proper ingest, media location etc
* Orchestrate proper labeling, syncing and grouping techniques required by the production's needs
* Prepare show deliverables for various platforms and versions
* Archive media and projects for future rebuilding and retrieval
* Syndicate assets and versions
* Assist the broadcast trafficking team by editing client billboards, short and long form commercial spots/infomercials

YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* Ability to work well under pressure, thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment
* Ability to multitask, be a problem solver, work well independently as well in a team environment
* Ability to clearly communicate and support team, collaborate with broadcast support for any maintenance issues
* Flexibility with hours/ability to work weekends and holidays
* Strong organizational skills
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and media archive library tools

Salary Range: 40 - 50 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
