Inventory Planning & Allocation Intern

Valentino is looking for an Intern who will be included in the Inventory Planning Department, based in Milan, and will support the team in the following activities:

* Actively use Replenishment tool on a weekly/daily basis to allocate product based on market needs and sales potential;

* Project and set appropriate TSL (target stock level) at store/SKU level;

* Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop forecast data based on trends and demand patterns, and evaluate forecast results;

* Monitor of inventory levels, identifying stock of still valid ex-carryover useful for rebalancing;

* Control of the last mile (allocation from regional warehouse to store) done across regions to timely identify issue;

* Periodic performance analysis.

Requirements:

* Graduate and/or Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management Engineering, with a strong academic performance

* Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills

* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a responsible way

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Fluent in English

* Team oriented with a pro-active and determined attitude

* Open-minded, curious, methodical and endowed with a sound analytical approach

* Strong IT skills: MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP will be a plus.
