TASKS OF THE TRAINEE
The Office of the Managing Director of (COMPANY NAME) Labs Hungary is looking for a creative, proactive, energetic and hard-working communications trainee who can also have an impact on internal marketing and branding. You would be working with the executive assistant to the Managing Director, our multi-media trainee and the Chief Operating Officer of (COMPANY NAME) Labs Hungary to communicate the achievements of the Labs. Your work would be distributed via two key communication channels, our internal (COMPANY NAME) Jam page (intranet) and our monthly newsletter which is distributed to over 900 employees. We expect you to learn about the various businesses in Labs and understand what their daily business is. We also expect you to proactively look for storytelling opportunities. We don't want to babysit you though. Ideally, we want someone who is independent and not afraid to ask questions. We love bright ideas for stories and someone who is proactive in content identification and creation. You can do this by always knowing what is going on. For example, which are upcoming events at Labs and in our business units or who has achieved something special (at work but also in their private life, sporting events our (COMPANY NAME) teams take part in etc.
We will regularly ask you to attend our events and in some cases help prepare and host the events. To do your work you will be given a high-powered laptop and can have access to relevant tools such as Microsoft Office suite or the Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere etc.). Digital content is increasingly becoming the chosen medium to share stories, so we expect you to use every multi-media tool at your disposal. If you require specific resources, ask us.
* Excellent English (oral and written)
* Hungarian language is an advantage
* Enthusiastic and outgoing personality
* Ability to build networks in and outside of the organization
* Video production and editing skills are an advantage
* Basic design skills (e.g. posters, internal presentations)
* Basic photography taking and editing skills
* Enthusiastic user of social media
* Tell awesome and exciting stories that put our people and their achievements first
* Work at least 3 days a week
