PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
(COMPANY NAME) Globalization Services' job is to make sure that customers in different countries can run (COMPANY NAME)'s software: we make sure that the software offers the functions needed in each location. One of our current focuses in (COMPANY NAME)'s latest software offering, (COMPANY NAME) S/4 HANA, and making sure that it is localized. So our work is at the heart of (COMPANY NAME)'s strategy.
Our customers need all kinds of information about what functions (COMPANY NAME) S/4 HANA offers, and how to configure and run the software. Our user assistance developers work with the user assistance architect create this information in different forms, such as text, graphics, and videos. And this is where you come in. We create all content in English.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will work closely with our user assistant architect and developers with a range of tasks helping with the delivery of our user assistance for our customers, for example:
* Updating documentation in our content management system and directly in the software
* Creating videos that form part of user assistance
* Present the status of these activities regularly
This position presents a good chance for anyone who is interested in a career in technical writing later on.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
* Student at a university (BSc or MSc)
* Preferred fields of study: Technical writing, Business, English
* Computer skills: Computer literacy, Word processing software, HTML skills and Camtasia would be of benefit
* Language skills: Excellent written and spoken English
* Soft skills: Time management, communication
