The Ceilings business development manager reports to the Business Unit manager (BUM) for Belgium and Luxemburg and supports him. His / her missions consist in defining the market positioning of the 3 ceiling brands offers, Eurocoustic, Ecophon and Plafometal and in proposing priorities in terms of market approach. She / he will develop a comprehensive understanding of the local market and segments in order to seize the potential of business development especially in term of specification. She / he will propose accordingly a marketing actions plan by segment, customers, brand and provide the sales force with the proper tools.
Ceilings market in Belgium is mature, high demanding in terms of value added solutions and performances especially in relation to fire resistance. The market is strongly competitive which requires a high level of commercial presence and an advanced knowledge of market segments and stakeholders. Eurocoustic is active for years with a continuous activity growth driven mostly by the distribution. On the other hand, both Ecophon and Plafometal have a good potential of development to seize through specification.
*Gather all research and statistics materials related to Belgium & Luxemburg construction markets
*Estimate the ceilings market and relevant market segments quantitatively
*Define the right sub-segmentation and recommend business priorities according to market trends and potential
*Identify the best route to market according to ceilings type (especially for metal) and map the key stakeholders by market segment
*Identify the most interesting projects in early phases of specification and track them with the support of the sales team
*Develop the awareness of the 3 brands towards pre-determined key strategic specifiers
3.Marketing actions plan
*Analyze in details the competition offers and propose the relevant positioning for SG Ceilings brands
*Adapt according to the local market the right products and systems argumentation by market segment and circulate to the sales team
*Define and coordinate the yearly marketing actions plan (events, tradeshows, customers' newsletter…) by key customer target group
*Provide the sales team with the relevant marketing materials (brochures, catalogues…) in link with the central marketing team of each brand
*Support the implementation of the CRM Super Office, common for the brands and work in collaboration with the sales on the customers' segmentation and project tracking
*Provide a first level of technical support for the sales team and rely with the different experts within the organization

*Strong analytical skills, good initiative, curiosity, excellent presentation as well as written and verbal communication skills, good relationships and strong organizational abilities.
*Business school with BtoB marketing specialization (2nd or 3rd year) and appetite for technical products or Engineering school with Master degree in marketing
*Flemish / Dutch (fluent or native speaker) & French (high proficiency or fluent) - working languages
*English (high proficiency or fluent) is an advantage
