Methods & Process Engineer - VIE

Position based in Germany - Berlin

Duration : 12 months renewable

As a Methods & Process Engineer, you will report to the Contract Logistic Director NWE (North West) and you will mainly monitor and control systems, stock levels, and warehouse activity. You will also be involved in controlling and optimizing the organization to ensure correct and safe layout and placement of the goods.

Monitor and analyze the activity of the platform on behalf of the Site Manager

Define, design, analyze and deploy in collaboration with the Benelux Method service and solution design team and propose/recommend optimal solutions to the Logistics Site Manager

Use the following methods, ensure accuracy and safe management of the stock: ABC Analysis, empty location check (% error rate), daily stock count, best before date management (BBD)

Optimize the stock and picking path to improve productivity and safety

Help to reorganize the warehouse

Use data from the WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to analyze and recommend strategic solutions (e.g demand planning, advance stock warning to the client…)

Deploy new projects (Implementation, processes, reporting…)

Candidate Requirements:

You are a young graduate (master's degree or bachelor's degree) in Continuous improvement, Logistics / Supply Chain

You have a first experience as a Methodist or a Logistics Engineer

You have an interest in the logistics sector - especially in warehouses which can be a super asset

You are rigourous, motivated with good interpersonal skills to be in contact with different stakeholders

You have good analytical skills and you are comfortable with IT tools (especially Excel) - knowledge or first experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is an asset

You can speak English (written and spoken) and have a good level in German
