Role:
POWER Energy Transition Services candidate will be part of Assets Optimization and Trading (AOT, one of the local Business Entities of Global Energy management Italy -GEM Italy- ). His/her role will be contributing to create value around GEM Italian assets.

Main activities:
Based on its perimeter defined by Head ETS Pricing & Risk Management the candidate will:
* Manage and optimize third parties asset portfolio creating value for GEM Italy
* Manage Demand Side Response activities (regulations, offers, settlement; contract management)
* Develop costing tool for PPA / third parties assets offers
* Develop Green Assets production forecast model.
* Develop and support ETS portfolio budget process
* Estimate risks associated of renewable assets management and power purchase agreement (PPA)
* Manage Power assets portfolio, maximizing results and minimizing risk, through all flexibility offered by the markets
* Assess market strategies of competitors through the development of new analysis tools
* Actively support GEM Italy platform business development;
* Propose improvement of models, processes & IT tools and follow up implementation;
* in terms of flexibility, thermal portfolio management (VPP & CCGTs) in case of need

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal profile matches with the following prerequisites:

1. Degree/Experience
* Degree in Engineering/Finance/Economics/Mathematics;
* Excellent attitude in quantitative analysis and probabilistic model;
* Knowledge of global energy markets is a plus;
* Knowledge of trading environment is a plus;

2.Behavioral
* Attitude to change, "mobility", "flexibility" is required
* Strong team player; humble and communicative. Interested to others opinion.
* Strongly customer oriented. Respectful of others stakeholders and polite.
* Eager to learn new things; curious and passionate in commodities and financial markets and new developments in the energy sphere;
* Strong analytical skills and ability to apply those skills in a practical fashion.

* An attitude and practice of proactive idea generation and continuous review and improvement of processes.

3. Language, IT
* Fluent English. Italian is a plus. Willingness to learn it asap.
* Proficient knowledge of Excel and possibly VBA and Python
